Amaya - Web Browser Editor That Follows W3C Standards

The Amaya application is a free open-source Web browser editor that supports HTML 4.01, XHTML Basic, XHTML 1.1, MathML 2.0, and many CSS 2 features. The program also includes a SVG editor, and it can display and partially edit XML documents. It is available for Windows, MacOS X, Unix, and Linux. It is free and requires no installation.

Amaya allows you to save documents to the internet by publishing them on remote servers. This process is as simple as saving a document locally, except that you use a URL instead of a file name. To publish documents on remote servers, you must have appropriate access rights. Publish documents and included objects on remote servers are stored as XML files and have a unique URL for each. If you have a website with a different URL, you can update the URL of the document.

Amaya supports the creation of documents on the web and updates existing ones. It blends browsing and editing features and supports remote access. It follows the original vision of the Web as a collaboration space. It is based on the XML specification and follows the Web's specifications. While Amaya is compatible with several platforms, it is a more complex solution. Amaya provides a user-friendly interface that follows the W3C standards.
